Early in the 1900's two brothers from Sioux Falls, SD, Henry and James Fenn, one a bank clerk and the other a shoe salesman, tested their entrepreneurship by opening a confectionary specializing in their own ice cream and soda pop.

This soon expanded into the creation of high-grade candy bars, the popular "WALNUT CRUSH," "BUTTER BRICKLE" and "BIG BOGIE!" Using the best ingredients possible their celebrity swelled, so began shipping country-wide, and in 1951 opening another plant inCalifornia.
